The new server will be called Avalon. The map is available here: otherland.bdew.net/map/avalon/
The server will be open of Friday, June 16th at 18:00 UTC.
Initially the server will be available to new characters only, and you will be starting completely naked. You can read about how to start without anything in wurm here: www.wurmpedia.com/index.php/Crude_tools
During the launch period Global, trade and CA chat will be shared between all serves but travel and mail to/from Avalon will not be available from existing serves.
The server will have 5 drakes spawned at launch, once those are killed (or a month passes without them dying) the server will be connected to the rest of the cluster and normal travel will be available by boats and portals.
Also during the launch period the drakes will drop significantly more hide, give a unique trophy to all slayers and have a chance to give sorcery items.
To start on Avalon (once the server is open) you need to connect as normal to Otherlands with a new character name, then walk through the new gate at the login server.
